Specializing in custom made Stone Anchor fabrication for client specific needs.
Trusted anchors are a must. We’ve been fabricating stone anchors and different types of masonry anchors since 1975.
Our stone anchors are custom made to job specifications. Mustang Metal & Supply Co. anchors are fabricated on site with stainless steel, plain, and hot dip galvanized finishes. Whether you are trying to anchor to granite or marble or some masonry surface, trusted anchors are a must.
We’ve been fabricating stone anchors and different types of masonry anchors since 1975.
Anchors and slots allow granite, marble, or any type of stone to be permanently attached to a structure. Our anchors work with any type of masonry, such as concrete, or even steel beams. The slots are affixed to the structure forming a channel where the stone anchors can then be placed.
The holding power of any anchor depends on the quality of the concrete as well as where the anchor is placed. If the concrete is old and crumbly, the holding power of the fastener will be reduced.
Use of marble anchors that are custom fabricated to specifications by Mustang Metal, is an efficient way to attach marble panels to structures such as; walls in elevators, bathrooms, and office buildings. With today’s technology, our marble anchors provide a method to attach marble panels to vertical structures that is reliable and requires little to no adhesives. These anchors provide a high, structural capacity for marble panels.
Granite anchors, fabricated by Mustang Metal, are an efficient way to affix granite panels to structures such as walls in elevators, bathrooms and office buildings. With technology of today, these granite anchors provide an anchorage system that is reliable and requires absolutely no adhesives. These anchors provide a high, structural capacity for granite panels.
Dovetail Anchors: Masonry to Concrete Anchors
These anchors are manufactured from various materials. There are two basic types: The dovetail anchorage and the slotted anchorage.
Dovetail Stone Anchors: Dovetail stone anchors are manufactured from thicker raw material to give stronger bonding to the masonry unit. Finishes plain, hot dip galvanized, and stainless steel.
Dovetail Masonry Anchors: Dovetail masonry anchors are manufactured to lock into dovetail anchor slot. Normally made from 16 gauge sheet metal. Available in lengths from 1 ½” to 12″ beyond face of concrete. Thickness 16 ga., 14 ga., 12 ga., Finishes available mill galvanized, and stainless steel.
Dovetail Triangles: Dovetail triangles are an effective means of tying masonry units to concrete columns or wall. Their wire leg when embedded into the mortar joint gives a larger mass of mortar to bond the masonry wall to the concrete unit.
Dovetail Anchor Slot: Dovetail anchor slot is cast into the exterior form work. It assures a dependable permanent anchorage for stone and masonry to concrete. Available in 20, 22, 24, 26 gauge mill galvanized metal or in copper, stainless steel, or zinc alloy finishes.
Channel slots are manufactured for anchoring stone or masonry to concrete wall or masonry to concrete wall or column: as well as steel columns and beams. Available in 16 ga. Or 11 ga. Thickness: finishes include mill galvanized, hot dip galvanized.
Weld Type Channel Slot: Weld type channel slots are manufactured to be welded to steel column or beam.
Masonry Type Channel Slot: Masonry type channel slots are manufactured to be used in new masonry construction with flanges placed inside masonry units.
Channel Slot Anchors: Channel slot anchors are designed to secure leg tie masonry to channel slots. They are available in thicknesses of 16ga., 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″ widths of 1 1/4″, finishes of plain, mill galvanized, hot dip galvanized and stainless steel.
Face Type Channel Slot: Face type channel slots are manufactured to be set onto concrete with either gun-type drive pin or expansion bolt assembly.
Column Anchors for Stone
Column Wall Anchors: Column wall anchors are manufactured to secure masonry wall to steel beams or columns.
Wire Column Ties: Wire column ties are an economical hook type adjustable wire tie to secure masonry wall to structural steel column. Length of tie is fabricated in various lengths to meet specific column and masonry unit application. Stock finish ASTM A82 mill galvanized. Other finishes ASTM A153 galvanized after fabrication, stainless steel and copper hardened zinc.

Wall Anchors For Stone
Wall Anchors are manufactured to tie masonry walls to masonry walls or masonry walls to steel columns.
Cavity Wall Anchors: Cavity wall anchors are fabricated to tie two-cavity masonry walls together. Available in 3/16″ or 1/4″ diameter. Stocked in ASTM A82 mill galvanized finish with lengths of tie 6″, 8″, 10″ or 12″. With 2″ leg length. Also fabricated to meet ASTM A153 specifications, stainless steel, or copper hardened zinc.
Corrugated Wall Ties: Corrugated wall ties are fabricated to tie two composite masonry or masonry to wood studded walls. Available in material thicknesses of 22 gauge to 12 gauge in widths of 7/8″ to 3″ and lengths of up to 24″ stock finish mill galvanized. Other finishes hot dip galvanized stainless steel and copper hardened zinc.
Mesh Ties: Mesh ties are fabricated to secure two intersection masonry walls, produced to conform to ASTM A153, in 19 gauge 1/2″ mesh or 16 gauge 1/2″ mesh made to specific applications.
Masonry Stone Anchors: Masonry stone anchors are fabricated to tie stone to masonry. Thicknesses of materials 1/8″ to 1/2″, widths 3/4″ to 3″, lengths variable. Depending on job application, finishes available uncoated carbon steel, hot dip galvanized ASTM A153, stainless steel, and copper hardened zinc.
Buck and Frame Anchors: Buck and frame anchors are effective means to tie masonry to structural steel or metal stud construction. Fabricated in thicknesses of 16 gauge or 14 gauge width 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″ or 2″ with 2″ bent legs, and lengths of 3 1/2″ to 12″.
